|ECU Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Equity and Indigenous), Professor Colleen Hayward AM, invites you to attend
HARMONY DAY 2017
Cultural diversity is one of ECU’s most valuable assets and strengths, enriching our learning community and bringing with it a variety of cultural and social benefits. Each year ECU celebrates its diversity as a university community by participating in Harmony Week (15 – 21 March 2017). Harmony Day Event
We invite you to enjoy entertainment including Bollywood dancing and ‘Men in Harmony’ barber shop singers, learn how to drape a sari, and explore ECU clubs and groups and a variety of food. The event is a great chance to meet other students and learn from one another. We encourage you to dress up in your national/traditional costume on the day, in order to promote and celebrate the rich cultural diversity at ECU. If you are unable to attend the Joondalup Campus event, we encourage you to celebrate within your own School during the week, perhaps by holding a morning tea or lunch made up of food from different countries. We hope you will take the opportunity to join us to celebrate Harmony Week.
